Nimisha Sajayan to debut in Marathi movies with the film‘Hawahawai’Award-winning actress Nimisha Sajayan is all set to make her mark in the Marathi movie industry. The ‘Thondimuthalum Driksaakshiyum’ actress is making her debut in Marathi with an upcoming film titled ‘Hawahawai’.
Nimisha Sajayan shared the first look and the motion poster of the film, through her social media handle. In the poster, Nimisha Sajayan is seen decked up in an ethnic bright blue saree, riding a scooter, and is all smiles. “HAWAHAWAI❤️ #FirstInMarathi,” she captioned sharing the posters.

‘Hawahawai’ is directed by Mahesh Tilekar who is known for films like One Room Kitchen and Ghar Grihasti. He is also a Bollywood producer. The director himself is handling the screenplay and edits. Pankaj Padgham is handling the music department. Asha Bhosle and Urmila Dhangar are singing songs for the film.
Nimisha Sajayan, who grabbed the eyeballs of the cinephiles with her exceptional performance in ‘Thondimuthalum Driksaakshiyum’, bagged the best actress award at the Kerala State Film Awards for ‘Chola’ and ‘Oru Kuprasidha Payyan’ in 2018. The actress has been making headlines for her super performance ever since then.
On the work front, Nimisha Sajayan’s latest release was the Malayalam movie ‘Malik’. Apart from Malik, she was also seen in Malayalam films Nayattu, One, and The Great Indian Kitchen which was also released in 2021. She is also looking for the release of the Rajeev Ravi directorial Thuramukham which stars actor Nivin Pauly in the lead. She also has ‘Footprints on Water’ in the pipeline.
