The life story of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is being made into a movie. Titled Leaden Ramaiah, the film is directed by Sathya Ratnam. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. This is also the first biopic film in the actor’s career. Leader Ramaiah is prepared in two parts. It is reported that Vijay Sethupathi will arrive in two different looks. Sathya Ratnam told The News Minute that Vijay Sethupathi will play the lead role in the second part of the biopic and he will play a cameo in the crucial phase of the first part.
The director said that many leading artists will play other characters in the film and the information about them will be released in the coming days. The first schedule of the film is almost completed with over 15 days of shooting left. Siddaramaiah’s childhood is depicted.’It is a purely commercial venture. It has all the elements of a commercial film. A love story, three songs, and a commercial film will have all the familiar elements to the audience. It is based only on Siddaramaiah sir’s life’, says the director.
Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah has sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnak two days ago. The swearing-in ceremony was held at Sri Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore. Representatives of 12 parties including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin attended the function. The Congress is paving the way for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections to take on the Modi-led BJP.
