Varisu, Thalapathy Vijay’s new film, is set to be released worldwide on the occasion of Sankranthi and Pongal 2023. The film is a bilingual action drama that will be released in both Tamil and Telugu as Varisu and Varasudu. The film is the biggest festive release in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, competing at the box office with three films starring the biggest stars.
At the box office, Thalapathy Vijay’s film will compete with Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu, Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy, and Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya. It should be noted that Ajith’s Thunivu will be released in Telugu as Thegimpu. The makers of Thalapathy Vijay’s film, on the other hand, took a new step with the release of the Telugu version. They announced the postponement of Varasudu and a new release date.

Varisu will be released on January 11, while Varasudu will be released on January 14. This huge step by the makers will benefit Telugu releases because they have two days to fill with good box office numbers. A new poster for the film has been released, and it promises to be a great family movie.
On January 4th, the makers of Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna’s family entertainers Varisu and Varasudu released the trailer. If the trailer is any indication, Varisu appears to be a total masala entertainer. It contains all of the necessary ingredients, such as action, drama, comedy, romance, and music, among others.
Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, tells the story of a young man, Thalapathy Vijay, who is the son of a business tycoon. In addition to Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, the film’s stellar cast includes R Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Khushboo, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, and Sangeetha Krish in supporting roles.
