Telugu producer Mahesh Koneru dies of cardiac arrest; South celebs condole sad demise


Telugu producer Mahesh Koneru passed away on Tuesday at his residence in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh after suffering a heart attack.

Tollywood maker Mahesh S Koneru passes away of a cardiovascular failure Tuesday (October 12) morning. The maker, 40, is likewise a famous producer in the Telugu entertainment world, died in Visakhapatnam, a source near the maker said.

He had produced films like ‘118’ with Nandamuri Kalyanram, ‘Thimmarusu’ starring Sathyadev Kancharana, ‘Police Vari Heccharika’, and ‘Sabhaku Namaskaram’. Mahesh’s last release in the theaters was ‘Sabhaku Namaskaram’ starring Allari Naresh. He also acted in a few films as a guest appearance. He was reportedly very close to the actor Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and was a PRO to Jr.NTR for a brief time.



His end news has left the whole Telugu Film Industry in shock. Jr. NTR took to his Twitter subsequent to finding out with regards to Mahesh’s downfall and composed, ” with the heaviest heart and in absolute incredulity, I am telling you all that my closest companion @SMKoneru in no more. I’m Shell Shocked and Utterly astounded.

Mahesh Koneru’s last tweet was about Rajamouli – Jr NTR’s and Ram Charan‘s forthcoming film ‘RRR’ on his social space. Actor Jr NTR, who worked with Koneru took to Twitter to condole the sad demise. With the heaviest of heart and in utter disbelief, I am letting you all know that my dearest friend @smkoneru is no more. I am shell-shocked and utterly speechless. My sincerest condolences to his family and his near and dear (sic),” the actor wrote.


Actress Rashi Khanna too shared a note for Mahesh Koneru. It read, “Life is so unpredictable! Rest in peace @smkoneru garu.”
