Telugu actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna passed away. He was 40 years old. Tarakaratna, who collapsed during the inauguration of TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh’s ‘Yuvagalam’ yatra, was undergoing treatment in Bengaluru for the past 23 days.
Taraka Ratna is the grandson of Telugu legend and former Andhra Chief Minister NTR. His father Nandamuri Mohan Krishna was a well-known cinematographer in Telugu. Nandamuri Tarakaratna is an actor who has remained active in Telugu cinema as both hero and villain.
After first aid at a nearby hospital, Tarakaratna was shifted to Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bengaluru that night for specialist treatment. Although treatment including balloon angioplasty was given, his condition remained critical. He had another heart attack and could not save his life. Taraka Ratna’s wife is Alekha Reddy.
