‘Love Today’ is director Pradeep Ranganathan’s second film after Jayam Ravi starrer ‘Komali’. 29-year-old Pradeep is the hero of the film, which hit the theaters on November 4. ‘Love Today’ is produced by ‘AGS’ Entertainment, the makers of many super hit films including ‘Bigil’ starring Vijay. A note posted on the San Geo Movie Group says that the film, which completely satisfied the connoisseur in me, is still running as a huge hit in Tamil Nadu.
These kinds of movies I only watch in Tamil sometimes make me really happy. Forget the surroundings and entertain. I wonder why only foreign language films can make me forget my caste, religion, color, language, and politics and get absorbed in the story. Either this is deeply rooted in Malayalam cinema or we don’t understand the politics of the foreign language.
‘Love Today’ was released by Udayanidhi’s ‘Red Giant’ Movies. Released only in Tamil Nadu, the film has now been released in centers across the world following the tremendous response it received. The film, which continues to be shown in theaters full of people, is also in progress to translate the film into other languages.
