Stay The Release Of ‘Adipurush’ Was Rejected

Aadipurush is a much-awaited film by South Indian moviegoers. Based on the Ramayana, the film directed by Om Rawat stars Saif Ali Khan as Ravana and Prabhas as Rama. There are many viewers for the updates related to the film. Now the Delhi court has rejected the plea to stay the release of Adipurush. A lawyer named Raj Gaurav filed the petition seeking a stay on the release.

Additional Senior Civil Judge Abhishek Kumar withdrew the petition on Saturday. Advocate Raj Gaurav sought permission to withdraw the case as he learned that the film’s release has been postponed and the crew is planning to make some changes in the film. The court considered this demand and rejected the petition filed by the lawyer.

The petition alleged that in Adipurush Lord Rama and Hanuman were shown wearing leather straps and inaccurate filming was done. The petitioners also pointed out that while in the Puranas, Rama is shown as a great-hearted and calm person, in the movie he is portrayed as an angry warrior.
