At the Drishyam 2 premiere, Shriya Saran was joined by her husband, Russian tennis player Andrei Koscheev. The couple kissed in front of the camera during the ceremony. The netizens did not like this loving gesture. Some members of the Twitterati believed that the couple “overreacted,” but others questioned why they always had to make out in public. Even after her kiss on the red carpet, she received jokes.

Currently, the actress responded to the trolls in a one-on-one conversation with a well-known news channel. “It’s kind of funny! Andrei thinks that it’s normal to kiss me during my special moment and I think it’s beautiful. He doesn’t understand why we would be trolled for something so natural. But it is okay, it is fine!”

After the release of Drishyam 2, Shriya Saran will next be seen in the mafia drama Kabzaa alongside Sandalwood actors Upendra and Sudeep. The 1980s are the backdrop for the movie, which was directed by R Chandru. The story of the underworld don Bhargav is told in the movie.

The film’s cast also includes Kabir Duhan Singh, Kota Srinivas, Kamraj, Jagapathi Babu, and Danish Akhtar Saifi in supporting roles. It is produced by R Chandru under his domestic label Sri Siddheshwara Enterprises. The Kabzaa soundtrack was composed by Ravi Basrur, and the film’s camera was turned on by AJ Shetty. Additionally, the action scenes for the movie were choreographed by Vijay, Vikram Mor, and Ravi Varma.

Nishikant Kamat, a late filmmaker, directed the 2015 film Drishyam. Abhishek Pathak, a director and producer, will take over for the sequel. Despite the disparity in their approaches to filmmaking, Shriya thinks that Drishyam 2, like its predecessor, has a good heart. She is grateful to have had two directors who encouraged her to push the boundaries and reveal new aspects of her personality.
