Shriya Saran and Andrei Koscheev’s daughter(Radha) was born on January 10 of last year. Andrei is a Russian tennis player. The actress had not announced her pregnancy on social media at the time. The actress recently opened out in an interview about why she chose not to share her pregnancy news online.
While interacting with the portal, Shriya mentioned that she wanted to spend the first few months with her daughter and not be concerned about the physical changes that she underwent post-pregnancy. She said, “I feel one of the main reasons why I did not speak about my pregnancy was of course that I wanted to make it my own time and spend time with myself and have those 6 months with Radha and be fat and whatever and not worry about what people write about me and just concentrate on my child.”
The actress was also concerned that she would lose her job if she revealed she was pregnant. “I was scared that if I speak about my pregnancy people will take that much longer time to come back and give me work,” she added.
Shriya is currently enjoying the success of Drishyam 2, the follow-up to the hugely successful movie Drishyam, which stars Ajay Devgn. On November 14 of this year, Abhishek Pathak’s second iteration of the movie debuted in theatres. In addition to Shriya, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, and Kamlesh Sawant appear in the suspense thriller movie. A family’s safety is jeopardized in the suspenseful novel Drishyam due to an ongoing inquiry. Ajay Devgn’s Vijay Salgoankar makes every effort to keep his family safe.
Drishyam 1 and 2 are remakes of Malayalam hits of the same titles.
