Aryan Khan bail hearing dismissed; Judge says, ‘tomorrow we will attempt to complete it’
The Bombay High Court will keep hearing the bail request of Aryan Khan, the child of Bollywood entertainer Shah Rukh Khan who has been captured in a drugs case, on Thursday when the NCB will introduce its contentions. Equity N W Sambre started hearing the bail application on Tuesday.

On Wednesday Aryan Khan’s guidance Mukul Rohatgi, co-charged Arbaaz Merchant’s legal counselor Amit Desai and backer Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh who showed up for Munmun Dhamecha finished their contentions. Today, advocate Amit Desai, Mukul Rohatgi, and Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh argued on behalf of the accused. Mr. Desai, appearing for accused Arbaaz Merchant, said the court was misled into believing during the first remand that it’s a conspiracy case. He said the arrested persons must be informed of the grounds of their arrest.
After the meeting which continued for more than two hours, Justice Sambre said he would hear Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, who is addressing the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), on Thursday.
“Tomorrow we will attempt to complete it,” the judge said.

Aryan Khan (23), Merchant, and Dhamecha were captured alongside others on October 3 after an assault by the NCB on a journey transport off the Mumbai coast and asserted capture of medications. Aryan Khan has been denied bail twice before. The special anti-drugs court that denied him bail last week said he knew about charas hidden in his friend Arbaaz Merchant’s shoe, and this amounted to “conscious possession”. Arbaaz Merchant was also arrested along with Aryan and 18 others.
They moved toward the HC last week after a unique court for NDPS Act cases dismissed their bail supplications.
