Farzi, the highly anticipated web series created by the popular filmmaker duo Raj and DK, is finally getting ready for its big debut. The series, described as a dark comedy thriller, is set to premiere on February 10, this year. On January 5, Thursday, the makers of Farzi and Amazon Prime Video officially announced the exciting update. Farzi’s lead actors will be popular Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and National award-winning Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi.
Along with the release date, Amazon Prime Video and the Farzi producers finally revealed the much-anticipated first look posters of the film’s leading men, Vijay Sethupathi and Shahid Kapoor. Shahid is depicted in his first look poster as a rugged youth dressed casually with tattoos on his neck, against a backdrop of currency notes. “Con hai ye farzi?” wrote the actor, who shared his first look poster on Instagram.
Vijay Sethupathi, on the other hand, is seen in a more serious and formal ensemble, wearing a navy blue jacket with a white shirt and tan trousers. The National Award winner can be seen standing with a revolver in his hand and a serious expression on his face. “Here to uncover the asli behind the Farzi,” the supremely talented actor wrote as he revealed the first look poster for the highly anticipated web series.
Farzi is not going to be a serious crime thriller. The veteran actor-filmmaker Amol Palekar, KayKay Menon, Raashi Khanna, Bhuvan Arora, Regina Cassandraa, Kubraa Sait are part of the movie.
