Shaakuntalam is Samantha Ruth Prabhu‘s first release of the year. The film was scheduled for a grand release on February 17 in multiple languages. But now the news is coming out that the release date of the movie has been changed. The release date of the film was changed due to some last-minute hurdles in the Hindi release of the film. No new date has been announced.
Shaakuntalam is a historical film written and directed by Gunasekhar. While Samantha plays the title role, Mollywood actor Dev Mohan plays the role of King Dushyantha of the Puru dynasty. Telugu actor Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arjun is making her silver screen debut in the historical film written and directed by Gunasekhar.
