Kannada actor and writer Bhargavi Narayan died on Monday night, February 14, at 83 years old. As per reports, she was having some age-related ailment. Her family said that Bhargavi had promised to donate her body, subsequently, it was given to St. John’s Hospital.

Bhargavi Narayan is married to Belavadi Nanjundaiah Narayana, famously known as Makeup Nani. She is the mother of Sudha Belawadi and Prakash Belawadi and the grandma of actress Samyukta Hornad. Sharing fresh insight about her grandma’s death via online media, Samyukta stated, “My grandma, Bhargavi Narayan, Ajji Bhajji to all, passed away at around 7.30 pm this evening, 14/2/2022. The body will be kept at our family home – Greenroom, 276/C, 37th A Cross, 8th Block Jayanagar, till 11 AM, 15th Feb,”

Having been important for more than 22 movies and a few Kannada plays, Bhargavi is known for films like Eradu Kanasu, Hanthakana Sanchu, Pallavi Anupallavi, and Baa Nalle Madhuchandrake. She was likewise important for the TV series Manthana and Mukta. Narayan’s autobiography, Naanu Bhargavi was released in 2012. The book won many awards and applause from Karnataka State.

Bhargavi was born on February 4, 1938. She went on to act in numerous critically acclaimed films. She has worked with several stalwarts of Kannada cinema. Bhargavi even shared the screen with late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar in ‘Prince’.
