Covid Second Wave is once again bothering everyone. The shooting of almost all the movies stopped due to the second wave. However, some of the films are being shot as per the Covid guidelines. Shakuntalam movie is one of them. Shakuntalam is a film directed by Gunasekhar and starring Samantha in the lead role. Gunasekhar is directing the film based on the Shakuntala episode of the Mahabharata Adiparva. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan is playing the hero in this movie.
The film is being shot at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Currently locked down but shooting continues for four hours. Shakuntalam is finishing the shooting as it will be difficult to catch the dates of the cast again.
