Samantha received a gift from the director and actor Rahul Ravindran, who co-starred with her in the film ‘Moscowin Kaveri,’ earlier this month. The actor referred to her as a Superwoman.

Samantha was most recently seen in the film ‘Yashoda,’ and she is currently filming ‘Kushi,’ with Tollywood actor Vijay Devarakonda. After a brief hiatus, the actress will resume filming for her next Bollywood film with Varun Dhawan. Samantha’s film, ‘Shakuntalam,’ will be released in theatres soon. Samantha revealed a few months ago that she has an autoimmune condition called ‘Myositis’; the 35-year-old diva broke the silence on her health update via her latest social media post.

Samantha was seen in ‘Yashoda,’ in which she played a surrogate mother who bravely unraveled the secrets of a serious medical crime. She joins Eva, a company that assists people in realizing their dreams of becoming parents through surrogacy. However, the path to accepting parenthood is fraught with difficulties. Yashoda is directed by Hari and Harish and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad through Sridevi Movies.
