S Thaman shared the pics from Varisu’s success bash

On January 11, Vijay’s film ‘Varisu’ was released in theatres. In its first week, the film earned more than Rs 210 crore at the box office. The film’s producers held a success party this week, and the entire cast and crew of the film attended. On January 21, images of Vijay cutting the cake went viral on social media. Taking to Twitter, music composer S Thaman sharing the images said, “What a Moment. Thanks dears anna @actorvijay. Not able to get out of this Truest HIGH!”

He also uploaded photos of Vijay during the party cutting a lavish cake decked with a camera, reel, and clapboard. ‘Varisu,’ directed by Vamshi Paidipally and starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, was released in Tamil and Telugu. Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Samyuktha, Sangeetha Krish, and Yogi Babu round out the cast.

On the work front, Vijay is reportedly filming his next film, ‘Thalapathy 67,’ along with Lokesh Kanagaraj, as part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Arjun Saha appear in the film. The production company has yet to make an official announcement.

Thalapathy Vijay is now growing out his hair for his upcoming Tamil film, which will be directed by hitmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Some unconfirmed speculations say that the popular actor will appear in the film, provisionally titled Thalapathy 67, in a never-seen avatar. Vijay is also shown in the photo with a salt and pepper beard, which he is using to complete the look of his character, a mobster in his forties.

The much-anticipated project will include senior Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the primary adversary, making his Tamil film debut. The renowned actress Trisha Krishnan is playing the female protagonist in Thalapathy 67, reuniting with Thalapathy Vijay after a long time.
