RRR won the 2nd best film at Hollywood Critics Association Awards

The pan-Indian film became the second-best film and the first position went to Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, Hollywood Critics Association announced the award. RRR left famous Hollywood films like Top Gun: Maverick, The Batman, Elvis, and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent behind and won the 2nd position at the Hollywood Critics Association Awards. While netizens are past cheerful about RRR winning the second place position, a few fans communicated disappointment as well. Many fans said that RRR ought to have been given the first rank.

For unversed, RRR turned into the first Indian film to get nominated for the Hollywood Critics Association award. Last week, the nomination list was reported and on Saturday, the winners were declared.

RRR was the number 1 movie in the world during the weekend, above the Hollywood movies like The Batman and The Lost City. The film has been garnering praises from international celebrities and crowds ever since its streaming on OTT platform, Zee 5, and Netflix.

The producers delivered a special banner to thank the crowds and commend the event.
