The box office numbers for Dhamaka, which stars Ravi Teja in the lead role, have been revealed by the film’s producers. Trinadha Rao Nakkina’s action comedy grossed 32 crores in its first three days. The creators also stated that collections on day two increased by 25% over the first day, with the third day seeing the highest footfall turnout. The film benefited greatly from the Christmas season. The makers also mentioned that the film collected $200k outside of the US.

Dhamaka, starring Ravi Teja, had a strong opening day at the box office, grossing over Rs. 7 crores (Rs. 4.40 crores share) in Telugu states. Outside Telugu states, collections were limited, with Rs. 40 lakhs coming from Karnataka, for a total of Rs. 7.50 crores in India on the first day.

The first-day collections are slightly lower than those of Ravi Teja’s previous release, Rama Rao on Duty; the difference can be attributed to Andhra Pradesh, possibly due to a smaller-than-usual release. Despite the lower start, the film is performing better than Rama Rao after the first day due to positive audience feedback and the upcoming holiday season. The film could have benefited more from the holiday season.

Ravi Teja’s previous two films, Khiladi and Rama Rao on Duty, underperformed at the box office. Dhamaka’s trend, on the other hand, is on the healthier side. Sreeleela, Rao Ramesh, and Jayaram play important roles in the film. The film, directed by Kartik Gattamneni and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad through People Media Factory, features music by Bheems Ceciroleo and cinematography by Kartik Gattamneni.

Ravi Teja’s next appearance will be in Sudheer Varma’s Ravanasura. He is also working with Tiger Nageswara Rao on a film directed by Kartik Gattamneni.
