Rashmika Mandanna has at last responded to the rumors she endured for her comments on Kantara. A few weeks ago, the actress came under criticism for admitting she hadn’t seen Rishab Shetty’s hit movie yet. Rashmika revealed in a press interview in Bengaluru that she had not had an opportunity to watch Kantara when she was asked if she had seen it two to three days after its release.

However, she has now watched the film and also texted the Kantara team. She added that they also sent her a reply. “I was asked if I watched the film 2-3 days after its release. I couldn’t back then. I’ve now watched it and also messaged the team. They also thanked me for the message. The world doesn’t know what’s happening on the inside. We can’t put a camera on our personal lives and show it,” she said.

She stated that she doesn’t care what other people think about her personal life. She is interested in their opinions regarding her professional projects. In response to reports that she was being blacklisted in the Kannada film industry, Rashmika stated, “So far, no producer has banned me.”

After Rashmika and Rishab spoke about each other without using each other’s names last month, rumors about their breakup started to circulate. Rashmika was discussing her acting career in an interview when she mentioned receiving a call from a production company and mistaking it for a prank call. She also provided insight into the entire casting process for her first movie. Although the actress didn’t name the producing company, astute viewers noted that she air-quoted it. Additionally, the production company was Paramvah Studios, which was co-founded by Rishab Shetty’s close friend Rakshit Shetty.
