On Sunday, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed a baby girl into the world. They proudly announced the news via social media. “And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here, and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love – blessed and obsessed Parents! Love love love – Alia, and Ranbir,” the new mom Alia shared the news in a heartwarming post.

As soon as Ranbir had his daughter in his arms, he began to cry. The families reportedly wept joyful tears at the baby’s delivery. Ranbir broke down in tears when holding his daughter. Although Ranbir is composed and serene, the birth of his daughter completely changed him. He shed tears of joy, gladness, and exhilaration. Everyone looked at him in tears as soon as he took his daughter into his arms and began crying. At South Mumbai’s Sir HN Reliance Hospital, they gave birth to their first child.

Many celebrities took to the comment section to congratulate the new parents. Deepika Padukone wrote, “Congratulations!” Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Many many congratulations! Dearest Alia Bhatt & Ranbir – the bestest journey of your life begins today – big love!” Akshay Kumar wrote, “Congratulations! Alia and Ranbir. No bigger joy in the world than to have a daughter. Bless you, all.” Brahmastra’s co-star, Mouni Roy wrote, “Heartiest congratulations Alia & Ranbir. All my love, only love for your angel.”

Alia and Ranbir got married in the month of April in an intimate ceremony. The couple announced their pregnancy in the month of June.

Alia and Ranbir last appeared on-screen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. Alia is a part of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar. She will make her Hollywood debut in Heart of Stone alongside Gal Gadot. Along with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif, Jee Le Zara is another project she is working on. Ranbir’s upcoming film, Animal, is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
