Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Brahmastra sells 27,000 tickets in advance booking

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra is all set to launch on 9th if September. The film has been in the making for many years from now. Amid industry-wide boycott calls, the movie has kicked off its advance booking on a tremendous note. In less than 24 hours of pre-bookings going live, the film has bought approximately 27,000 tickets at three national chains – PVR, Inox and Cinepolis so far.

As per a file in in a famous entertainment news site, the IMAX shows are also attracting audiences. It need to be noted that only the 3D model of the film is currently reachable for advance booking; tickets for the regular 2D model are expected to go live subsequent week. Combined with the film’s massive scale and the attention round its lead pair, there has been a lot of interest around Brahmastra. While superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna play pivotal roles, Shah Rukh Khan additionally has a cameo in the film. As per reports, industry estimates are currently pegging Brahmastra’s opening day figures to be round Rs 18-22 crore, however, the number may upward thrust if the tickets continue to be sold at this rate.
