India will celebrate its 75th anniversary of independence on August 15; festivities have already started. Har Ghar Tiranga and tricolor are everywhere as folks prepare to celebrate the momentous day. Rajinikanth, a celebrity in the South, has already addressed his followers in a special greeting. In addition to posting a video of himself, he also wrote a letter on the significance of the day.
Rajinikanth wrote, “This is the 75th year of independence for India.. our motherland. As a mark of respect, and as an expression of our unity… for all the lakhs of people who suffered untold struggles and miseries.. pain and humiliation.. for all those many thousands of people who scarified their lives selflessly for this freedom.. for all those freedom fighters, martyrs and leaders.. let us honour and salute them with gratitude.. beyond caste, religion and politics.. let us pass on our Indian National Flag to our next generation of kids and youngsters to be proudly displayed outside our homes, offices and work places. Let us celebrate the great Indian 75th Independence Day with pride… Let our national flag fly everywhere as we salute them. Jai Hind.”

In the meantime, Rajinikanth has teamed up with director Nelson Dilipkumar for his upcoming film, Jailer. A long-awaited drama will soon begin production. The shoot is anticipated to start on either the 15th or 22nd of this month.
Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie, Jailer, will feature Ramya Krishnan. The 169th film starring Superstar Rajinikanth is set to begin production this month under the direction of Nelson Dilipkumar. Aniruddh created the music, and Vijay Kartik Kannan shot the movie. This movie is anticipated to be a quirky action thriller, much like Nelson’s past movies, but it will take place in a totally different setting.
