With her husband, singer Nick Jonas, and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, Priyanka Chopra is overjoyed to be back in Los Angeles. After a three-year gap, the Dil Dhadakne Do actress returned to India and immediately got back to work. PeeCee recently revealed her joy on her social media accounts as she began making Christmas preparations at her Los Angeles home.
Priyanka shared a photo of her Christmas tree on Instagram Stories with the caption, “It’s up!” She also included emojis for a Christmas tree, love eyes, fire, and evil eyes. She and Maltie Marie can be seen twinned in a different image, sitting in front of their fireplace. Priyanka withheld Malti’s face, though. Malti will celebrate her first Christmas since birth this year. It should be noted that Malti’s name was derived from the middle names of Nick’s mother Denise Marie Jonas and Priyanka’s mother Madhu Malti Chopra.
In January of this year, Priyanka and Nick made the announcement that they had become parents through surrogacy. They said in a joint statement: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.” Malti came home after spending more than 100 days in the NICU on Mother’s Day.
In the meantime, Priyanka will next be seen in the musical Love Again, in which she co-stars with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. She also owns the Russo Brothers’ series Citadel. The next science fiction program will debut on Prime Video’s OTT platform. She will also appear in Jee Le Zaraa, a road trip movie directed by Farhan Akhtar and starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
