Actor Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy on Friday. The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts to share the news with their fans and followers. While congratulatory messages are pouring in for the new parents on Twitter and from their industry friends. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not reveal the gender of their child. However, the news was not hidden for a longer time.
Their daughter was born 12 weeks before the schedule at a Southern California medical clinic outside LA, where she will stay till she is healthy enough to get back to Nick-Priyanka. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas reportedly were expecting their baby in April and Priyanka had even cleared her work schedule to embrace motherhood. Declaring the arrival of the baby, Priyanka-Nick had partaken in a statement, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018. The couple met at the grand fashion event Met Gala 2017, where they represented designer Ralph Lauren. The singer had shut down an entire Tiffany’s store in New York to pick out Priyanka Chopra’s ring. He had proposed to Priyanka on her birthday while vacationing in London. The couple had two wedding services – Hindu and Christian.
