Bro Daddy Script and Direction

Prithviraj Sukumaran has conveyed a funny story of life as a parent with his second time as a director. Bro Daddy is a pleasant film that shows various stages of parenthood (and helps us to remember days gone by film Pavithram and Mohanlal’s personality Chettachan for clear reasons). The greatest strength of this film is its first half and the manner in which it sets up the prime characters and reason. Sreejith N and Bipin Maliekal, the way it establishes the central characters and premise. Sreejith N and Bipin Maliekal, the writers have done a good job with the humor in the first half. The interesting turns and engaging relational peculiarities are completely charming. Be that as it may, the film loses its hold towards the second half, particularly when the comedy falls flat and the narrative gets stretched. Bro Daddy will dazzle the watchers who anticipate basic family entertainment with a sufficient part of the humor, to watch with loved ones.

Bro Daddy Cast Performance

Mohanlal shows his skills in taking care of humor with the person John Kattadi and gets everyone’s attention with his performance. Prithviraj Sukumaran sheds his serious image for the character Eesho John Kattadi and has done a decent job. Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s amazing camaraderie in Bro Daddy is definitely is the biggest plus point of Bro Daddy. The on-screen chemistry between Meena and Mohanlal worked very well. Meena impresses the audience with her screen presence as usual. Kalyani Priyadarshan, on the other hand, proves she is one of the most reliable leading ladies we have in the industry right now, especially when it comes to handling humor Notwithstanding, it is Lalu Alex who completely surpassed his co-stars with his astonishing performance in both the humorous and emotional aspects. Soubin Shahir’s performance was not as expected. The rest of the stars including Kaniha, Jagadish, Mallika Sukumaran, Charle, Jaffar Idukky, Unni Mukundan, Kavya Shetty, Sijoy Varghese, and others are great in their respective roles.

Bro Daddy Technical Aspects

Abhinandan Ramanujam’s great cinematography makes Bro Daddy a stunning watch. Akhilesh Mohan’s editing is okay. The music by Deepak Dev fits in the film perfectly. There are a couple of situational songs that are fine. The screenplay and writing are largely effective.

Finally, Bro Daddy is a decent one-time watch with some problems in the second half particularly towards the end of the film. But then, that would not stop largely from enjoying the film. The fact that it is an OTT watch makes it even more comfortable.
