Prabhas, who is presently in the spotlight after the release of Om Raut’s Adipurush trailer, is prepared to begin shooting his upcoming movie with well-known filmmaker Maruthi. Beginning on October 17, the Mirchi actor will start filming for Maruthi’s picture. The initial schedule of the unnamed movie, which is marketed as a commercial entertainer, lasts for 7-8 days.

The Young Rebel Star will reportedly portray two different characters in the comedic film, according to social media rumors. There hasn’t been a formal announcement made about it, though. According to reports, the historical horror comedy takes place over two timeframes, and Prabhas would portray a grandfather in one of the parts. It will now be interesting to see whether the dual role will draw in the audience.

Prabhas, who played Baahubali, is one of the busiest actors in the business right now. He will shortly complete a crucial schedule for Nag Ashwin’s Project K, which he wrote and directed. Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani are also featured in the movie. Project K, one of the costliest movies, will debut in October of the next year with music by Mickey J. Meyer. Project K, supported by Vyjayanthi Movies, is a futuristic film that centers on the history of World War 3.

He also has Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF. Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu all play significant parts in Salaar, which is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.

The actor has also wrapped up filming for Om Raut’s Adipurush, a movie starring Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. Adipurush, a simultaneous Hindi and Telugu film, is a retelling of the Ramayana, a Hindu epic. In the movie, Prabhas will portray Ram, Kriti will play Janaki, and Saif will play Lankesh. Recently, the movie’s teaser was revealed, and reviews of it were conflicting.

Midway through 2023, he will start shooting Siddharth Anand’s action-thriller, which is supported by Mythri Movie Makers.
