Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ continues to be released in OTT after its huge success in theatres. Mani Ratnam had earlier announced that the second part of the film, which is being prepared in two parts, will be released soon. Now there is a report about the release date of Ponniyin Selvan 2. The film will release on April 28, 2023. This was informed by film analyst Ramesh Bala.

The first part of the film was released on September 30. Mani Ratnam has stated that the second part of the film will be released in nine months. He also informed me that the shooting of the second part was going on along with the first part and the VFX works were about to be completed. There were also reports that some parts of PS2 will be reshot.
