But the subsequent OTT release of films that are huge hits in the theaters gets special attention from moviegoers. Shah Rukh Khan‘s film Pathaan, a historic hit at the Bollywood box office, has started its OTT streaming. The film started showing on Amazon Prime Video at midnight last night.
This is a film that has entered the 500 crore club from the Indian box office and the 1000 crore club from the global box office. And the film with the highest repeat audience in the recent history of Bollywood. But even after more than 50 days in the theaters, the film is getting a great response from the audience even when it is released on OTT. The hashtag Pathaan on Prime is trending on Twitter. As per earlier reports, some scenes which were not in the theatrical cut have been included in the OTT version.
