Now that they are parents, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are relishing this new stage of life. Through surrogacy, the couple welcomed their daughter Maltie Marie Jonas Chopra in January of this year. On Mother’s Day 2022, PeeCee stated that their daughter had finally returned home after spending 100 days in the NICU. Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra recently hinted in an interview with a news channel that the newly turned parents will be sharing their baby’s face soon.
Priyanka’s daughter’s name Malti Marie Chopra Jonas’ is inspired by her mother’s name Madhumalti Chopra, aka, Madhu Chopra. In response, Madhu remarked that she was honored and that it was a wonderful surprise to learn the name only on the day of the namkaran. According to Madhu, Nick’s father performed the Hindu rites in which the paternal grandpa whispers the baby’s name and words of wisdom into its ears. She also mentioned that Priyanka and Nick have already discussed sharing parental responsibilities. “I give a massage and Nick gives her a bath and changes her diapers,” said Madhu. PeeCee’s mom also revealed that they may show their baby’s face on her first birthday.
In the meantime, Priyanka just celebrated her 40th birthday on the 18th of July, and she did so with her daughter Malti Marie, her husband Nick Jonas, as well as her friends and family. Additionally, she posted photos to her Instagram account that included Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, Nick Jonas, Parineeti Chopra, Madhu Chopra, and others.
On the work front, she will be seen next in the Bollywood film Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
