Actress Nayanthara has responded to Malavika Mohan who indirectly criticized her. Actress Malavika Mohan was asked in an interview about a scene in the movie Rajarani. Malavika mentioned that Nayanthara’s character in the film Rajaraani was in full makeup even when she was in the hospital.
Nayanthara responded to these criticisms in an interview on the sidelines of her new film Connect. Actress Malavika replied that even though she did not mention Nayanthara’s name, she understood that it was meant for her and that she is doing what the director tells her to do in the film. Nayanthara’s words were like this. ” I saw an actress criticizing me for sitting in full make up in a movie. They didn’t mention my name, but I knew it was about me.
Nayantara asked if a person should sit with his hair all messed up thinking that he is in a hospital and if there is no one in the hospital to clean the patient’s hair, look after it and take care of it. The actor added that there is a big difference between realistic cinema and commercial cinema. Actress Malavika Mohan said in an interview that she had recently seen a movie about a superstar actress and she was acting in a hospital scene where she was about to die and even in that scene she was wearing full makeup.
