Nawazuddin says that he wanted to eat with leading actors that day and because of that he was thrown out of the set. He was a person full of ego then. Nawazuddin says that he could not bear such humiliation at that time. In a BBC Hindi interview, Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke about his experience when asked if there was bad behavior in the film industry in his early days.

“Indeed, thousands of times have faced humiliation. Sometimes I ask the production boy for water on set and he doesn’t even pretend to see me. will be completely ignored. Only then did he realize that he had to earn that respect himself. On many film sets here, there is a separation between actors in serving food. Junior artists have food elsewhere, supporting artists have another place, and main heroes have another place. But in some production spaces, there are places where everyone eats together. But many places do not have this practice. On a set like this, I looked to eat from where the main actors sit to eat. But they took me by the collar and kicked me out.
