“Najeeb isn’t someone who usually asks for anything. However, yesterday he expressed a desire. We need a set T-shirt to mark the release day of the movie. We received it yesterday itself. Meanwhile, director Blessy and writer Benyamin had invited Najeeb and his family to watch the film. Facilities were also provided. So Najib accepted the invitation and came to see the expression of the intense life he had lived in the desert. The first show of the film will be held in Ernakulam. Najeeb’s son Safeer, who works in Oman, was also preparing to come home to watch the film with his family.
But Safeer had decided to return to her hometown. It was to take one last look at her only daughter Safa Mariyam, who had breathed her last on a Saturday due to a prolonged illness. Najeeb and his family were in deep sorrow following the death of their daughter. In this situation, Najeeb informed director Blessy that they wouldn’t be able to watch the movie.
