Nagarjuna’s production house bags the Telugu theatrical rights of Karthi’s Sardar

A month prior, team of Sardar had declared the PS Mithran executive, featuring Karthi in the lead role, will release in venues during Deepavali celebration in October. The film has been created by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures. Sardar was the first Kollywood film to announce release for the festival.

Presently, Tollywood star Nagarjuna‘s creation house Annapurna Studios has obtained the distribution rights of the film in Telugu states. Fanatics of Karthi and other film sweethearts are currently anticipating the specific release date of the action flick.

It is realized that a couple of movies of Karthi have proceeded to become cash spinners at Tollywood film industry. Director Mithran’s first film Irumbu Thirai (Abhimanyudu in Telugu), as well, was a prominent endeavor among the Telugu crowd. Sardar is Mithran’s third executive endeavor after Vishal-starrer Irumbu Thirai (gushing on Zee5) and Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Hero (real time on Amazon Prime Video).

Sardar will clash with Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince at the Tamil film industry. Prince as well, is supposed to have a concurrent release in Telugu. Sardar, which spins around a cop embarking to save his dad from a jail, has music created by GV Prakash. Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan play female lead jobs in the task which has Chunky Panday playing the main adversary. The film denotes the Bollywood entertainer’s Tamil debut.

Laila, Munishkanth, Ashwin and Yog Japi are other people who will be seen playing important characters in the film which has cinematography by George C Williams and editing by Ruben. Sardar will be Karthi’s second release during the pandemic time .His first release post COVID-19 was Sulthan (streaming on Amazon Prime Video).
