Unni Mukundan shares screen space with his father in Anoop Pandalam’s executive

Recently, Unni Mukundan took to his online entertainment page to reveal why his second production venture Shefeekinte Santosham was special. The film will have his dad Mukundan Nair in an important role and the actor will be seen sharing screen space with him too.

Sharing snaps from the dubbing sessions, the actor, who is bankrollling Anoop Pandalam’s tomfoolery, family performer, said that his dad finished dubbing his parts for the film on Wednesday. Unni mentioned that his dad was supposed to have a cameo in Meppadiyan, which marked the actor’s debut production venture. But he had to chop those parts during the scripting stage.

“Anyways, since I didn’t get the benefits of nepotism, I chose to do the reverse nepotism here,” he said adding that he now totally understands how nepotism works. “Family is always special and important,” wrote the actor, also sharing a still from the movie that shows him sharing screen space with his father.

The film, which went on floors in April, had wrapped up its timetable now. Aside from Unni in the lead role, Shefeekkinte Santosham likewise has Athmiya Rajan, Divya Pillai, Shehin Siddique, Mithun Ramesh, Boban Samuel and Sminu Sijo in essential roles. The film likewise has near 100 theater artistes as a component of the cast.

Shafeekkinte Santosham will likewise see Unni playing a full-length comedy role, something that he has has never done in his ten years old vocation. The film will likewise have a couple of segments set in the UAE.

The actor is also part of Jayaraj’s Pramadavanam that is set to release on the OTT stage, Roots Video.
