They took the photo while Prithviraj Sukumaran was filming “Pokkiri Raja” in 2009 or 2010.

While Supriya Menon was pursuing a journalism profession, Prithviraj Sukumaran met her in Mumbai. The two hit it off right away and began spending time together. They were initially friends. Mumbai native Supriya Menon served as Prithviraj Sukumaran’s tour guide as he sought out specific locations in the city. Though Supriya is a Malayali, she has spent most of her life in Mumbai. She’s a Mumbai girl. In fact, I saw the real Mumbai through Supriya’s eyes. Of course, I knew Mumbai before I got to know her. But it was Supriya who showed me the sides of Mumbai I had never seen. I wanted to see all the places described in the novel Shantaram like Haji Ali and the Leopold Cafe. Supriya was a friend. I asked her to take me to all these places. Thus, I was in Mumbai and Supriya took over my life for the next few weeks,” Prithviraj Sukumaran earlier said. The couple got married in 2011.
