Mollywood’s youthful hero Prithviraj Sukumaran has a few high-profile projects in the works, including his upcoming Onam release picture ‘Gold.’ The makers have now released a distinctive style poster for the film, and director Alphonse Puthren has revealed an interesting update for the Prithviraj Sukumaran starter.
While the new poster for Prithviraj-film Nayanthara is making the rounds on social media, there are various reports circulating that there will be no trailer release prior to the film’s premiere. The same was confirmed by filmmaker Alphonse Puthren, who gave a response to a Facebook user who asked for a trailer update for ‘Gold,’ and the director reacted by adding that the video will be available soon.

Although the lack of a trailer for ‘Gold’ has upset fans, the filmmaker has made an exciting announcement that a song would be released before the film’s debut on Onam. According to insiders, the song will be similar to the ‘Pista’ song from Nivin Pauly’s ‘Neram.’
Meanwhile, on June 13th, the makers of ‘Gold’ completed filming for a song in the film starring Alphonse Puthren’s wife Aleena, as well as actors Soubin Shahir and Ganapathi. The song sequence was shot in Kochi, and Aleena was apparently involved in its choreography. Cinematographer Anend C Chandran and Viswajith Odukkathil spun the lens.
‘Gold,’ directed by Alphonse Puthren, stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara in lead roles, with the rest of the cast including Lalu Alex, Deepti Sati, Roshan Mathew, Saiju Kurup, Baburaj, Vinay Forrt, Shabareesh Varma, Krishna Sankar, and others.
