‘Premam‘ director Alphonse Puthren’s next film ‘Gold’ highlighting Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara in the lead role is moving to its last phases after production. In his most recent tweet, Alphonse Puthren has affirmed something very similar and furthermore added that the after-creation works are taking place at full speed.

It can be expected that the film will be released on the big screens in the upcoming months as the after-creation works will be wrapped up soon.
‘Gold’ marks Alphonse Puthren’s third excursion, after the movies ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’. The upcoming film will be the director’s first outing in the last seven years. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara will for the first time collaborate with director Alphonse Puthren. The film will also be, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first full-length role with lady star Nayanthara. The duo has previously made a guest appearance in the star-filled film ‘Twenty:20’.
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara are assuming the characters of Joshi S, and Sumangali Unnikrishnan, separately in ‘Gold’. South actors Shammi Thilakan, Mallika Sukumaran, Shanthi Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Sabumon, Chemban Vinod Jose, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, Saiju Kurup, Sudheesh, and Deepti Sati will play important role in the film. The makers have also launched the teaser of the film.
