On Sunday, actress Sruthy Suresh of “Karikku” fame married director Sangeeth P Rajan in a small ceremony (Sep 11). In accordance with Hindu tradition, the couple got married in the Thiruvalla Sree Vallabha temple. The couple’s close friends and relatives were there for the low-key ceremony. Groom Sangeeth P Rajan looked dapper in a tie-dye kurta and white dhoti, while bride Sruthy Suresh was dressed in a white kasavu lehenga saree with embroidery detail and complemented with antique temple jewellery.

According to reports, Sangeeth P. Rajan and Sruthy Suresh have been dating for some time and have now consummated their relationship through the holy matrimony. While everything was going on, Sangeeth P Rajan, an associate director, made his directorial debut with the recently released Basil Joseph movie “Palthu Janwar.” In the movie, an aspiring animator named Prasoon is made to work as a livestock inspector at Kizhakkanmoola as part of his father’s dying-in-harness duty. Critics and movie buffs gave the movie a mixed bag of reviews when it first opened in theatres earlier this month. Sruthy Suresh also played a crucial part in the movie.
