The blockbuster pair, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are collaborating for a Malayalam thriller film named 12th Man. The film, which wrapped up the shoot in October, is ready to release soon. The entertainer took to his web-based media handles and reported that the movie will skip a theatrical release. It will be directly released on the OTT stage, Disney+Hotstar. However, the makers of the film have not announced the release date and kept it a suspense for the fans.
Alongwith the OTT release declaration, another banner highlighting Mohanlal shows a lot of individuals remaining in dread before a lodge. As per the buzz, the Mohanlal starrer rotates around the social gathering of 11 friends and a twelfth person who goes along with them. The film portrays the surprising events that occur during the party, in a stretch of time of 24 hours.

Earlier, Mohanlal collaborated with director Jeethu Joseph first for the blockbuster film Drishyam in 2013. They teamed up once again for the continuation, Drishyam 2, which was released in 2021. Amidst the high expectations, the blockbuster director-actor duo film 12th Man is set for release. Also, Jeethu Joseph in an interview said that twelfth Man is not similar to Drishyam and it is a totally different movie. It’s a mystery film, set inside a retreat.
The film likewise includes Unni Mukundan, Anusree, Aditi Ravi, Leona Lishoy, Veena Nandakumar, Shine Tom Chacko, Saiju Kurup, Santhi Priya, Priyanka Nair, and Sshivada in supporting jobs. Twelfth Man is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the Aashirvad Cinemas pennant.
