Mammootty has had a great year in 2022, with back-to-back box office blockbusters and favorable reviews. For his upcoming project, Kaathal: The Core, the seasoned actor is teaming up with well-known actress Jyothika and The Great Indian Kitchen director Jeo Baby. Mammootty completed his work for the movie on Friday, November 18.
On the final day of his filming, the megastar, as usual, prepared a special lunch for the entire Kaathal: The Core cast and crew. For those who don’t know, Mammootty has always been a fantastic host and makes sure to feed the cast and crew of his movies well. Earlier, when Jyothika’s husband, the well-known actor Suriya, visited the movie’s set, the veteran actor maintained tradition and held a Malabar biryani lunch.

Mammootty once again served as host for the entire cast and crew of the Jeo Baby-directed film on his final day of filming. Later, he posted a couple of photos taken at the team meal on his official social media accounts. Along with leading woman Jyothika, Mammootty is seen in the photos distributing food to the cast and crew. “Completed my portions for @KaathalTheCore. Enjoyed working with a very vibrant team,” the senior actor captioned his post.
According to the most recent information, Mammootty is currently starring in Kaathal: The Core as Mathew Devassy, a local politician from Teekoyi in Kerala who subscribes to communist ideas. The movie, which is billed as a family drama, features Jyothika as Mathew’s wife. Lalu Alex, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Sudhi Koppa, and other actors play supporting roles in Kaathal: The Core. Distribution of the Jeo Baby film is handled by Wayfarer Films, a production company run by Dulquer Salmaan and funded by Mammootty Kampany.
