Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan has gained popularity with her films Hridayam and Thalumalla. She has been delivering hits consistently in both the Tamil and Malayalam film industries, and will next be seen playing the lead in director Manu C. Kumar’s upcoming Malayalam film, ‘Sesham Mike-il Fathima’.
The film, which is to go on floors from September 14, is to be produced by Route & Passion Studios. Kalyani Priyadarshan has signed on to star in the upcoming Sesham Mikeil Fathima movie in Malayalam. Manu C. Kumar will both write and direct the movie. It has the joint support of Jagadish Palanisamy and Sudhan Sundaram.
Through social media, Kalyani, who was last seen in Thallumaala, revealed the new endeavour. “There’s a new Paathu in town… and I can’t wait for you to meet her! You guys have shown me nothing but kindness and love and I hope you shower us with the same for this story. It’ll be a fun one I promise. Joining together with some dear friends and new ones for this one and we hope to have all your blessings… SESHAM MIKE-IL FATHIMA!” the excited actor has written.

Sesham Mikeil Fathima will have cinematography by Santhana Krishnan (2 Countries, Kabir Singh, NOTA) and music by Hridayam-fame Hesham Abdul Wahab. Hesham Abdul Wahab has been roped in as the music director for this film. Kiren Das is the editor of the film, and Nimesh Thanoor will be in-charge of Art direction.
Kalyani’s last movie was with Tovino Thomas, titled Thallumala. Kalyani played the role of vlogger Pathu in Thallumala. The movie collected more than 70 crores in 30 days globally. Then the film started airing on Netflix today from September 11.
