Malayalam actor Mohanlal is planning a total career change. He has some very intriguing projects in the works. The veteran actor is going through a bad phase in his performing career. His recent films like Aaraattu and Monster did not work in theaters.  However, the actor is now ready to enter a new stage of his professional life.

Will Mohanlal join the Kumbalangi Nights crew?
According to recent rumors, Mohanlal would team up on a Malayalam movie with the Kumbalangi Nights team. The highly acclaimed film’s writer and director, Syam Pushkaran, and Madhu C Narayanan met the actor to take the lead role in their upcoming project. The narration really intrigued Mohanlal, who has already approved the project. The rumor mill also says that the writer-director team and National Award-winning actor may launch the project soon.

One of the most adored Malayalam movies in recent memory is without a doubt Kumbalangi Nights. Madhu C Narayanan made a directorial debut with the film. The movie’s story, script, and dialogue were written by Syam Pushkaran. Fahadh Faasil, Soubin Shahir, Anna Ben, Shane Nigam, Grace Antony, Sreenath Bhasi, and other A-list actors were among the cast members. The film received four Kerala State Film Awards.

On social media, the celebrity just revealed his first endeavor with renowned director Lijo Jose Pellissery. The actor-director team is working on an action drama that will start shooting soon. Mohanlal will portray the wrestler Chembothu Simon. The film would be extensively shot in places throughout Kerala, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh. Mohanlal will join the production of L2 Empuraan, the Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer that is a follow-up to their 2019 hit Lucifer, after finishing the untitled movie. Mohanlal has Barroz, Shaji Kailas’ Alone, the impending MT Vasudevan Nair anthology for Netflix, Vivek Thomas’ untitled film, Tinu Pappachan’s untitled film, and the multilingual Vrushabha in his kitty.
