Gold is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film written, edited, and directed by Alphonse Puthren. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Ajmal Ameer, Siju Wilson, Roshan Mathew, and Chemban Vinod Jose will be seen in supporting roles. Gold is produced by Supriya Menon and Listin Stephen. Director Alphonse Puthren makes a comeback with Gold after Premam. The story is based on the incidents that take place within four days of Joshi and a mobile shop owner who purchases a new car owing to a marriage alliance that is almost fixed.
