Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan was arrested as Manju Warrier files a complaint against him

Director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan has been arrested by the police after Malayalam famous actress Manju Warrier filed a case that he had reportedly stalked and threatened her on social media. In her grumbling, documented at the Elamakkara Police station in Kochi, the entertainer expressed that the director has been blackmailing and defaming her through his posts on social media. The police have captured the director and have shared a live video of him resisting the police custody, on Facebook.

“They are going to grab my mobile phone. I am being kidnapped by several people. They are attacking me. Some goons claiming to be police are trying to attack me. Somebody please interfere and help me,” Sanal had apparently said in the live video shared.

A couple of days prior, Sanal took to online entertainment and said that Manju Warrierhas been in danger and was under threat ever since she was justified in a 2017 actress assault case involving Dileep. He claimed that Manju Warrier was not answering to his public posts as she was being kidnapped by her manager.

The director also documented a grievance to Women in Cinema Collective expressing he doesn’t confide in regulation or police. He likewise composed letters to the President of India and the Chief Justice raising anxieties about the lawfulness circumstance against the women.

Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and Manju Warrier worked together in a film named ‘Kayyattam’.  The story is based on a 40 year old lady trekking to the Himalayas and facing questions about life.
