Basil Joseph starrer Malayalam film Paalthu Janvar has been certified with a U certificate at the Censor Board. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on September 2. Sangeeth P. Rajan is making his debut as a director with this film. The film is bankrolled by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran through Bhavana Studios. The script for Paalthu Janvar was written by Aneesh Anjali and Vinoy Thomas. Prior to this, Sangeeth P Rajan collaborated with the filmmakers Amal Neerad and Midhun Manuel Thomas.

The film is scheduled to be released in theatres this Onam in September under the production company Bhavana Studios. The comedy-drama film is directed by newcomer Sangeet P Rajan, and it was written by Vinoy Thomas and Anish Anjali.
