The acclaimed director B Unnikrishnan is all set to return to the game with his forthcoming thriller “Christopher,” featuring Mammootty as a vigilante cop, following the lacklustre movie “Aaraattu.” The director recently said that Mammootty has finished filming his scenes for “Christopher.”

B Unnikrishnan posted a photo of himself with Mammootty on his official Instagram account, along with a comment describing the encounter as “wonderful.” The director of “Christopher” wrote on Instagram, “Mammukka finished his stint in Christopher today. It was magical filming him. Thank you for everything, Mammukka @mammootty.”

Christopher, directed by B Unnikrishnan, is billed as an investigative thriller, and reports claim that Udaykrishna’s script was inspired by some real-life incidents. The slogan for “Christopher” is “Biography of a vigilante officer,” and on the final day, the film’s producers presented the second look poster, which features Mammootty in the role of a vigilante cop.

Supreme Sundar is roped in as the action choreographer and costumes by Praveen Varma. ‘Christopher’ has the cinematographer Faiz Siddik crank the lens and the editing and music section will be handled by Manoj and Justin Varghese respectively.

The female lead characters in “Christopher” will be portrayed by actors Sneha, Amala Paul, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, and the rest of the cast consists of Dileesh Pothan, Vinay Rai, Vasantha, and Shine Tom Chacko. On the other hand, Mammootty is working on a film called “Rorschach” with director Nissam Basheer. The movie is marketed as a thriller, and Sameer Abdul, who is best known for the films “Iblis” and “Adventures of Omanakuttan,” wrote the script.
