Films in the thriller genre have always been accepted with open arms by the Malayali audience. Asif Ali’s movie ‘Kooman’, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is about to win the audience’s favor. The film is set in the backdrop of a hilly village on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. A very strict police officer transfers to the police station in that country where people of different cultures live together. His behavior turns the lives of the people associated with the police station and the hero upside down. Regular events in that village turn out to be extraordinary. The trailer also hints at the hero’s journey after that.
