Anikha Surendran to make her debut as the female lead

Now a new child actress is on her way to becoming a female lead on the big screen.  Anikha Surendran will play the lead in Alfred D. Samuel’s Malayalam film Oh My Darling. Anikha Surendran captured our hearts as a kid actor in movies like Bhaskar the Rascal with South Indian icon Nayanthara. The film is being financed by Manoj Sreekanta through Ash Tree Ventures, and the screenplay was written by Jinesh K Joy.

The movie launched on Wednesday, August 17, during a customary pooja at Kochi’s Kumbalam. Those who play key roles in the movie, such as Mukesh, Vijayaraghavan, Lena, Johny Antony, and Manju Pillai, were all in attendance at the ceremony. Melvin G. Babu, Sreekanth Murali, Nandu, Shyamprasad, Deayne Davis, Fukru, Rithu, and Sohan Seenulal are just a few of the young performers who will appear in the movie. Shaan Rehman composed the soundtrack for the film.

In the 2010, Anikha made her Mollywood debut as Baby Anikhain in the film Kadha Thudarunnu. She won the 2013 Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for 5 Sundarikal. She has performed in a few Tamil and Malayalam films over the years. She received a lot of attention for her role as David Nainan’s daughter in the Mammooty-starring film Great Father. Viswasam and Yennai Arindhaal are two of her Tamil movies. She also made an appearance in the Queen online series on the 2019 MX Player.

With the upcoming Telugu version of the Malayalam film Kappela, Anikha will also make her acting debut as a heroine.
