Mani Ratnam’s PS-1 is good to go to release on 30th September 2022 in theaters. The eagerly awaited artful culmination, PS-1, the first part of a two-section multilingual movie in light of Kalki’s exemplary Tamil book “Ponniyin Selvan” directed by Mani Ratnam and produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies together is ready to release at movie theaters this year. The story is set in the tenth century during an era in the Chola Empire when the epic power struggle between different branches of the ruling family caused violent rifts between the potential successors to the reigning emperor. It is an undertaking story where brave soldiers, cunning spies, and evil schemers all attempt to win the empire for themselves. These political and military conflicts prompt the Cholas to turn into the most prosperous and strong realm in the landmass and one of the best and long-reigning ever.
PS-1 is an experience story highlighting Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sobhita Dhulipala, among others in important roles. PS-1 is set to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Created by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, PS-1 is directed by Mani Ratnam. The film is set to come on enormous screens on September 30th, 2022.
The film had gone on floors in December 2019, yet the shoot must be required to be postponed for a long time in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The technical team comprises Ravi Varman wrenching the camera for the film and Sreekar Prasad dealing with the editing of this film, whose music is created by AR Rahman.
