Lyca Productions office raided in the Tamil film industry According to Tamil media, officers are conducting raids at 8 locations in Chennai, including Thiagaraya Nagar, Karappakkam, and Adyar. According to reports, this investigation is being conducted on the basis of a complaint regarding illegal money transactions. The first and second parts of Ponniyin Selvan, which was produced by Lyca, received huge collections. In connection with this, the complaint is that an illegal transaction was made. No information is yet available from the offices regarding what evidence has been received in this regard.

Lyca entered the production scene in 2014 with the Vijay-starrer Kaththi. Then hits like Kolamaav Kokila, Vadachennai, 2.0, Don, Vikram, etc. were released under the production of Lyca. Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Cheddar 171, and daughter Aishwarya’s Lal Salaam are also produced by Lyca. The information received from ED sources is that the investigation is being conducted on the basis of the complaint received regarding black money. About 40 offices of various manufacturers in Tamil Nadu were raided three months ago. On that day, many pieces of evidence related to counterfeit money were seized.
